Literary tour of Milan, in search of quotations!
Accompanied by our guide, we retrace Milan in the footsteps of the great writers of the past, moving from the city’s most iconic places to more hidden but no less evocative corners. Famous passages or lesser-known literary pages will keep us company along the way: at each stop, a quotation! The voices of great writers will be an engaging filter through which to observe the city and imagine sounds, movements and colors of past centuries. From the ancient Corso di Porta Orientale, a passage of ladies and noisy carriages described by Stendhal, to the discreet elegance of Manzoni’s places; from the hubbub of the cafes that crowded the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, recalled by Hemingway and Kafka, to the silent grandeur of the Duomo, a source of inspiration for pens of every era. Thanks to this tour, we will rediscover the magic of Milan and some curious biographical events of writers, but also the fascination of reading and the timeless power of storytelling. A real literary walk, where writing, history and art intertwine to create a fabric of memories and emotions!
