6. HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE VISIT
6.1. The details: the date, time, meeting place and any further useful information are shown as follows depending on the type of visit:
6.1.1. Tours in the Calendar: in the email of confirmation of the booking (save any variations that we will promptly communicate);
6.1.2. Private tours on request: in the email we send the client a few days before the date of the event/guided tour, including the necessary attachments where required.
6.2. We advise wearing comfortable shows and always looking at the weather forecast before leaving (except for the tours by boat, tram, bicycle, Segway, car, motorbike and bus or other means of transport, the guided tours outdoors are generally walks and last from about 90 to 120 minutes, unless otherwise agreed with the client).
6.3. In the case of a visit which includes a place of worship, we warmly advise suitable clothing (for women, with shoulders and preferably knees covered, for men at least a T-shirt and shorts).
7. BAD WEATHER
7.1. Our guided tours are confirmed even in the case of bad weather, except in objectively exceptional conditions and natural disasters. In the case of additional third party services (trams, boats etc.) the visits are subject to regulations imposed by the supplier.
7.2. In the case of cancellation by Neiade, please refer to point 8 below.
7.3. It is true and we know very well that a tour in the rain is not the ideal situation, but unfortunately for us there is no system for accurately forecasting the weather and, even if there were, it would not be possible to please everybody fixing a new date.
Please bear in mind above all that the guided tours in the calendar are organized a long time in advance, precisely to allow all those interested to sign up and therefore it is impossible to foretell what the weather will be like on that day. What we can do, we do, preferring to organize visits above all indoors in the winter, but we cannot do much more than that!
8. VARIATIONS OF THE VISIT
8.1. Variations of dates, places and times: these may undergo variations or limitations due to operational requirements or causes of force majeure (strikes, extraordinary partial or total closure of the places of the visit, breakdowns of vehicles or boats used during the visit, natural disasters, demonstrations, modifications to traffic, disorganization of the authorities of the places of the visit etc.) which cannot be attributed to Neiade.
8.2. With regard to any requests for variations of extensions of time, please see point 3.4 above.
8.3. Variations of charges: in the case of sudden increases of costs or for modifications of laws and regulations, the rates are updated and communicated by email to the Client for the adjustment.
8.4. Cancellation by Neiade: if the variations or limitations concern an essential part of the visit or the event, Neiade will cancel, communicate this by telephone and/or email and will propose, where possible, a tour/event of equal value which does not entail a variation of the charges; the Client may accept the alternative proposal or request the refund of the amount paid (always save the costs of entrance tickets to museums and exhibitions if relevant as well as the additional costs connected with the refund).
8.5. Any complaints – under penalty of the loss of the right to complain- must be sent, without delay and in any case not more than 10 days from the date of the event/guided tour, to the email address info@neiade.com.
9. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
9.1. Cancellations must be sent by fax to the number 0236565694 or by email to the address info@neiade.com and will give rise to the following refunds or penalties (always save the costs of entrance tickets to museums and exhibitions if relevant as well as additional costs connected with the refund)., according to the date of receipt of the cancellation (the fax report or the reply by Neiade to the same address as the sender of the email of cancellation will be considered binding) and the type of service booked.:
