Our corporate events in Milan in the days of Covid

If corporate events, in Milan and beyond, have always been a fundamental constituent of company life, in the Covid times a fortiori they have taken on the decisive role of conveying a“newfound closeness,” with positive repercussions as much on a human level as, and as a consequence, for the achievement of business objectives.
In the corporate events and team-building activities we have carried out recently, for several corporate clients operating in different sectors, culture has proven to be a powerful tool capable of responding to diverse needs, linked by a common denominator: the need to shorten distances, to bring people together and re-meet, and to strengthen the team.
We have responded to this shared need with customized solutions that are always new, starting with careful listening to the wishes and goals, specific to each stakeholder.

Below we present some case histories of the corporate events with which we greeted 2021 and from which to be inspired for the coming spring!

Covid and corporate events: in-person events

3×1: one event, three locations

If corporate policies in the Covid period allowed the annualcorporate event to be held for only a few guests, the solution for not having to exclude anyone was to hold several parallel events at the same time, and a city like Milan, with its many cultural and noncultural attractions, offers numerous possibilities from this point of view.
The client, an Italian subsidiary of a company specializing in supply chain solutions, had approached us about holding multiple cultural events dedicated to colleagues in small groups in line with internal company guidelines.
We therefore organized three simultaneous guided tours, all followed by a reinforced cocktail, to three different cultural sites in Milan, in distinct areas of the city and with three different thematic focuses: the“Underground Milan,” “Contemporary Milan,” and“Design Milan.

Theatrical visit: Milan told in a novel way

For the “return to presence” after the lockdown of activities dedicated to client Cral members, we have designed a fidelity project consisting of several appointments over several weekends between October and November 2021.
With the format of the theatrical tourCrimes around the Cathedral,” we responded to the client’s need to realize an aggregative moment finally live and safe, in groups of participants of small numbers, outdoors to encourage distancing, more special than traditional walking tours.
Over two weekends and with a choice of multiple time slots during the day, participants were accompanied by our storytellers along the streets and squares walked every day by workers, tourists and citizens, unaware of the blood that was once shed there…

Covid and corporate events: online events

Cultural Game: a virtual journey around the world

With the customized multi-cityVirtual Cultural Game, we “teleported” participants on a virtual journey to discover the artistic and cultural beauty of seven international destinations, in a team building fun and interactive designed from the company’s communication goals and onbrand values andidentity.
The participants, divided into six teams in as many parallel virtual rooms, competed in solving quizzes and puzzles and workshop tests, using objects in their homes or offices, taking photos and selfies, and playing with local culture.
We devised the concept and content so that the trials naturally conveyed the brand’s values and story, and modulated the itinerary so that the stops/cities reflected the company’s major international markets. Always keeping the playful value, the pleasure of challenge, discovery and being together in the foreground.
