The fashion district of the fashion capital
This is the increasingly well-known case of the Quadrilatero della Moda, a famous network of streets that includes on the one hand the most prestigious boutiques perfect testimonials of bothhaute couture and made in Italy, and on the other hand it loses no trace of the glorious past of costume, always remaining poised between past, present and future. Strolling through the elegant shop windows, one encounters both new trendy spaces and beautiful and iconic historic palaces, which today house the most famous and well-known brands and reveal some of their secrets, or in some cases guard the past, as in the case of the Museum of Fashion and Costume inserted in the prestigious Palazzo Morando.
Not only the Fashion Quadrilateral
In recent years, the contamination of fashion in the city is no longer limited to the area of the famous Montenapoleone, but more and more has moved into the area of the city, creating new neighborhoods completely devoted to fashion, as in the case of the Via Tortona area. This former industrial area has become famous for such world-renowned events as the Fuorisalone, today represents a unique and evocative promenade that in every corner tells of the urban contamination by the world of fashion and design that has over time made it its second home, as in the case of Armani, which has established right in these streets in its headquarter, also creating a monogriffe museum, Armani Silos, dedicated to its glorious past and the history of fashion in general. Discovering the link, indissoluble between the city and fashion, does not represent a simple mix, but a real journey inside the fashion culture that has made Milan, the capital of glamour and trend, undisputed both in Italy and in the world.
